Buffalo Bore 458 SOCOM ammunition is designed for medium sized game. The 300gr. tipped Nosler bullet is hyper accurate. This bullet will readily expand on lighter deer sized animals, yet should penetrate around 24 inches depending on impact velocity and which bones are encountered. For those of you who want to hunt animals at or under 400 lbs., this is a very effective load.
